Bali – Sugriva
Bali chased a demon Mayavi after killing his brother Dundabhi. Mayavi entered into a cave where Bali followed him. Bali too followed him into the cave. But before entering he cave, he instructed Sugriva to wait outside for a fortnight. He also said that if he did not come out of the cave after fifteen days, Sugriva would understand that Bali had been killed. After a month, He saw blood coming out of the cave and assumed that Bali was dead. Sugriva returned to the kingdom as a king. But Bali was alive. When he came back and saw Sugriva running the kingdom of Pampapuri, he became furious. He drove Sugriva out and enslaved his wife as well. Sugriva was hiding in Rishiyamooka mountain, because of curse of Sage Matang, this place was safe. more.
Duryodhana
Duryodhana (literally means Dur= Extremely hard, Yodhana=Yudh/Fight; the one with whom the fight is extremely hard) is a major character in the Mahabharata and was the eldest of the Kauravas. There were hundred sons of blind king Dhritarashtra and queen Gandhari. Being the first born son of the blind king, he was the crowned prince of Hastinapura, along with his cousin Yudhishtra who was a few days older than him. Karna was the closest friend of Duryodhana. more.
Draupadi (Panchali)
Drupada, father of Draupadi, set up a swayamvara for her. The princes vying for Draupadi’s hand had to string a pinaka, and shoot five arrows at the eye of a revolving fish, while looking at its reflection in a bowl of water. more.
Matsyalaya vardhanam
Draupadi was choosing a husband. Whoever could hit the target and carry the mighty bow would win her hand. The target was a fish fixed to the ceiling, spinning. The task was to put the arrow through the eye of the fish and down the target. Kings from all over assembled in the great city. more.
Virata DarshaN
Virata Darshan ("Universal form", "Omni-form"), Virata Darshan is an iconographical form and theophany of the Hindu god Vishnu or his avatar Krishna. Though there are theophanies, the most celebrated is in the Bhagavad Gita, "the Song of God", given by Krishna in the epic Mahabharata, which was told to Pandava Prince Arjuna on the battlefield of Kurukshetra in the war in the Mahabharata between the Pandavas and Kauravas. Virata Darshan is considered the supreme form of Vishnu, where the whole universe is described as contained in him. more.

Shabari was born in a hunter’s family. Shabari is an epitome of patience, perseverance, devotion, purity and spirit of service. Though the meeting between Rama and Shabari lasted only for a few minutes, it contained a decisive moment when all her penance and devotion were duly rewarded by Rama. more.
